CAP Officers meet with PA Secretary of the State

Yuefeng Xie, President of CAP, and You Zhou, Vice-President of CAP, met Pedro A. Cortés, Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on February 6, 2016. Secretary Cortés also served as Secretary of the Commonwealth from 2003 to 2010.

One of the Department of Commonwealth’s main missions is to protect the health and safety of the public by providing administrative, logistical and legal support services to professional licensing boards and furthering the highest standards of professional licensure. Most of the CAP’s members are licensed professionals and practitioners in Pennsylvania.

Xie and Zhou thanked Secretary Cortés for his leadership in supporting licensed professionals and practitioners in Pennsylvania. Secretary Cortés also expressed his desires to attend future CAP meetings and activities.
