Dr. Hao Tang is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering in Department of Chemistry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is also a registered professional environmental engineer. Dr. Tang received his B.S. degree (2004) in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Hunan University, and M.S. (2008) and Ph.D. degrees (2011) in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University. He was actively involved in environmental industries before he joined the faculty of IUP in 2016. His research focuses on the engineering aspects of water desalination technologies; emerging disinfection by-product control strategies for drinking water; and fat, oil and grease removal from wastewater.
