Dr. Hao Tang at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is advertising one Master’s level Research Assistant position within his research group in Department of Chemistry for the Fall of 2017.
Project Description: With the primary research focus on water desalination and disinfection, students will work on environmental problems encompassing the applications and implications of shale gas explorations. Research involves bench-scale experiment to explore the impact of shale gas produced water discharge on drinking water quality.
Applicant Qualifications: Highly motivated applicants with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, and/or petroleum engineering are encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience in aqueous analytical techniques (e.g. gas chromatography, mass spectrometry) will be given priority.
